Preferred industrial locations
The London Plan, published by the Mayor of London in March 2016, defines preferred industrial locations (PIL) as: ‘Strategic industrial locations that are particularly suitable for general industrial, light industrial, storage and distribution, waste management, recycling, some transport related functions, utilities, wholesale markets and other industrial related activities.’
